Job Overview


We are looking for a skilled Assistant Accountant to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of our company by maintaining accurate records, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This is a full-time position based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP and experience in using accounting software
  • Familiarity with GST regulations and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good presentation skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense claims
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of financial audits and provide necessary documentation
  • Support the financial team in day-to-day accounting tasks
  • Provide assistance in ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations
