Junior Mendix Developer Job Description

Experience Level: 0.5-2 years

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Mendix Rapid Application Development (RAD) certification.
• 0.5 to 2 years of hands-on experience working with the Mendix platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop business applications using the Mendix platform, focusing on delivering high-quality and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Participate in solution architecture development, ensuring alignment with system performance and security standards.
• Develop custom modules and widgets as necessary, utilizing Mendix Modeler and other relevant technologies.
• Design data models and database structures to support application requirements.
• Conduct unit and integration testing, debugging applications to identify and resolve issues.
• Keep abreast of the latest Mendix features, tools, and best practices to enhance development processes.
• Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Support senior developers and contribute to mentoring junior team members.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Mendix Modeler, microflows, pages, and domain models.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs).
• Basic understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic fluency is a plus.
• Self-motivated and proactive in delivering quality results.
