Remal India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Junior Accounts Payable professional to join our team in Mumbai, Worli. The position is full-time and involves managing accounting and financial tasks associated with processing accounts payable. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in accounts payable, key accounting software, and relevant compliance expertise.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in accounts payable processes including invoice verification and payment processing.
• Advanced skills in using MS Excel to manage financial data efficiently and accurately. (Mandatory skill)
• Experience with SAP ERP system for handling financial transactions and ledger activities. (Mandatory skill)
• Strong understanding of invoice processing including coding, posting, and batching procedures.
• Ability to perform purchase order matching to ensure accuracy and compliance with purchase agreements.
• Competence in GST compliance, staying updated with legislative changes and tax obligations.
• Exceptional data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining precise financial records.
• Experience in reconciliation of accounts, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring data integrity.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, purchase orders, and payment entries.
• Perform detailed reconciliation of accounts and resolve any discrepancies timely and accurately.
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations and update accounting systems accordingly.
• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to facilitate smooth financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for internal audits and other purposes.
• Utilize SAP ERP for organizing, monitoring, and evaluating all accounts payable activities.
• Maintain accurate financial databases and records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting operations and enhance procedural efficiencies.
