Job Description for Warehouse Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The role requires ensuring productivity targets are achieved, safety standards are maintained, and the overall warehouse operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Manage warehouse staff, assign tasks, and ensure productivity.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
• Ensure timely order fulfillment and proper coordination with procurement, sales, and logistics teams.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies, processes, and best practices.
• Monitor and maintain proper use of warehouse space, equipment, and materials handling.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, health regulations, and company policies.
• Optimize workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance (inbound, outbound, stock levels, damages, etc.).
• Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff to improve performance and accountability.

Requirements:

• Any Bachelor’s degree
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and logistics.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP, and MS Office.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
