Job Purpose
The Sales Manager's (B2B Industrial Raw material sales) primary role is to procure sales orders for Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) used as raw material in B2B designated regions. The SM role primarily targets companies using boilers and other heating systems that rely on Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) or alternative energy sources. SMs have individual sales targets and are responsible for selling imported Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF). SM has to be self-directed to meet personal sales targets. SMs monitor periodically to assess performance and sales skills. Candidates should demonstrate leadership skills in selling to new markets.
Job Duties
- The job requires a daily commute to meet clients located at different locations.
- Visit Head Office, Plant Site and convince purchase officers, management for sales.
- Communicate and implement the Client's vision, mission, and overall sales direction.
- Demonstrate leadership, integrity, accountability, teamwork, and a self-directed approach toward acquiring sales orders and closing business.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Achieve predetermined Monthly sales targets.
- Identify, select, and coordinate with potential clients through his skill and network.
- Generate leads and inquiries while identifying opportunities relevant to Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) sales.
- Work closely with customer service, quality control, operations, safety, and credit.
- Do field, plant, and head office visits for the allotted client list, and execute selling parameters that conform to SMs SOPs.
- Preparation and submission of proposals with the support of the backend
- Achieving technical and commercial closure with clients.
- Attending and closing client negotiations
- Possess knowledge and ability to interact with sub-vendors / suppliers
- Conduct presentations at client premises
- Support the backend team to fulfill documentation requirements about sales orders.
- After receiving training, report daily tasks in CRM, CCR, Sales Order Processing, Inquiring, Party Allocation, Operational CRM, and other online sales-tracking tools.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industrial clients.
- Can get work orders from respective clients (related to industries that use Refuse Derived Fuel RDF as a fuel source).
- Differentiate sales pitch and strategy for Industrial, Corporate, and SME clients/leads.
- Coordinate actively within the Sales department to fulfill and execute sales of Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF).
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Do problem-solving for unloading on client-site
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Travel to meet with designated clients and attend industry-specific events
- Build network/contacts with purchase/procurement persons of various industries of Distilleries, cement plants, fertilizers, chemicals, textiles, paper mills, sugar mills, and others
- Staying up to date with local government regulations and experience in handling a team are mandatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
