About the Role

We are seeking a Jr. Executive – Purchase to support procurement and import operations within the coal industry. The role focuses on managing purchase records, coordinating with importers, tracking market prices, and ensuring timely cargo imports through various Indian ports.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain updated vessel schedules, pricing data, and import records in the system.
• Research and source new suppliers and vendors for coal imports.
• Coordinate with the Importer Touchpoint team for price and market updates.
• Monitor vessel availability and assist in timely cargo movements.
• Build and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers to ensure supply stability.
• Prepare reports for the Purchasing dashboard, tracking orders and deliveries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
• 0–1 year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or import operations (freshers welcome).
• Proficiency in Google Workspace / MS Office and data entry systems.
• Understanding of import documentation and logistics coordination.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
