Expectations from the Role:  

1.      a methodical approach to understand client’s business and supply chain profile by analysing client information in public domain and incumbent sales channels

2.      great interpersonal skills to drive engagement externally (with clients) as well as internally (with incumbent client relationship managers)

3.      leverage tools to build client management map, to approach relevant client stakeholders

4.      a “generalist” mindset that exhibits the mental span to understand most of Company’s product offerings sufficiently enough to spot opportunities in client’s supply chain landscape

5.      collaborative approach to drive multiple teams across Company’s businesses to deliver on the additional opportunities and thus, the ability to thrive working with a diverse set of colleagues


Ideal Profile:

1.      Bachelor's / MBA degree, with 7+ years of business development experience with Enterprise Clients, preferably in promoting Trade Finance / SME Finance / Supply Chain Risk management / Payment solutions. Experience with Non-Bank Financial Institutions, B2B FinTechs, Credit Rating Agencies preferred

2.      Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners and internal teams.

3.      Driven, highly motivated and results driven.

4.      Excellent track record in achieving and exceeding business development targets

5.      Excellent persuasion skills, ability to spot opportunities and go after them with gusto.

6.      Patience and the ability to tactfully handle customer negotiations.

7.      Ability to work independently without supervision.

8.      Ability to work under pressure to deliver beyond target expectations, passion for driving revenue numbers.

9.      Experience in servicing leading companies is an advantage.
