Job Description – Business Development Manager (BDM) for AI & ML Projects Position: Business Development Manager (AI & ML) Location: Coimbatore Experience: 5+ Years in AI/ML Sales & Business Development Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) with expertise in AI and Machine Learning (ML) solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, identifying new opportunities, and building strong client relationships in the AI/ML domain. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Development & Sales:  Identify and pursue new business opportunities in AI/ML-based solutions across industries.  Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for AI/ML services and products.  Generate leads, pitch solutions, and close deals with clients. 2. Client Relationship Management:  Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.  Understand client requirements and align AI/ML solutions to their business needs.  Act as a bridge between technical teams and clients, ensuring smooth communication. 3. Market Research & Strategy:  Analyze industry trends and competitor strategies in AI and ML.  Identify potential business partnerships and strategic alliances.  Provide insights on AI/ML adoption trends and suggest innovative business strategies. 4. Proposal & Contract Management:  Prepare and present business proposals, sales decks, and RFPs for AI/ML projects.  Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.  Collaborate with legal and finance teams for agreement finalization. 5. Collaboration with Technical Teams:  Work closely with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and product teams to understand offerings.  Provide feedback from clients to improve AI/ML solutions and services. 6. Revenue & Performance Tracking:  Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.  Track sales pipeline, forecast business opportunities, and report on performance metrics. Key Skills & Qualifications: ✅ Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, AI, or a related field. ✅ Experience: Proven experience in AI/ML business development, sales, or consulting. ✅ Technical Knowledge: Understanding of AI, ML, Data Science, and related technologies. ✅ Sales & Negotiation: Strong sales acumen with experience in B2B and enterprise sales. ✅ Communication: Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. ✅ Networking: Ability to build relationships with C-level executives, startups, and enterprises. ✅ Analytical Skills: Data-driven mindset to analyze business opportunities and market trends. Preferred Experience:  Experience in selling AI/ML solutions in industries like healthcare, finance, e-commerce, manufacturing, or retail.  Exposure to AI/ML-based products such as chatbots, predictive analytics, NLP, and computer vision.  Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
