Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and passionate Science Teacher (TGT level) to fill a temporary leave vacancy. The teacher will be responsible for delivering effective and engaging lessons in Science to middle and secondary school students (Grades 6–10).
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) to students of Grades 6–10, as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans, experiments, and assessments.
- Use innovative and activity-based teaching techniques to enhance learning.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and exams.
- Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student development.
- Ensure smooth continuation of academic activities during the regular teacher’s absence.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology).
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with modern teaching aids and digital tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching abilities.
- Good classroom management and student engagement.
- Responsible, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage temporary responsibilities efficiently.
