Job Description:
Podar International School, Ambegaon, is inviting applications for the position of TGT – Mathematics. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced educator who can make Mathematics engaging, understandable, and relevant to students in middle and secondary grades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to students from Grades 9 to 10, following the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board, as applicable).
- Prepare and deliver lesson plans that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding.
- Use innovative teaching methods, including technology integration and real-life examples, to explain mathematical concepts.
- Conduct formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning.
- Provide academic support and mentorship to students as needed.
- Maintain discipline and encourage a positive and respectful classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other subject teachers, coordinators, and parents to support student progress.
- Participate in school activities, training programs, workshops, and staff meetings.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience in middle or high school (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.
- Comfortable using digital teaching tools and online learning platforms.
