Position Title: TGT – Hindi Teacher

Location: Podar International School, Talegaon

Reporting To: Academic Coordinator / Principal

Job Summary:

The TGT Hindi Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in the Hindi language to middle and secondary school students (Grades 6–10). The role includes planning and executing engaging lessons, developing language skills, and fostering a love for the language and literature.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Hindi language and literature to Grades 6–10 as per the curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board, as applicable).
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities.
• Use innovative and interactive teaching methods to enhance student engagement.
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and maintain academic records.
• Encourage student participation through discussions, storytelling, reading, and writing activities.
• Support students in improving reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension skills.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
• Participate in school events, meetings, workshops, and training programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Hindi.
• B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Hindi at the middle or secondary school level.
• Strong command over Hindi grammar, vocabulary, and literature.
• Basic proficiency in English and good communication skills.
• Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools.
