Job Overview

Podar Education Network is seeking a Junior Stem Faculty Cum Robotics Trainer for our campuses in Pimpri, Hadapsar Pune, and Chakan. This full-time position requires a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about STEM education and proficient in delivering engaging lessons in robotics and programming. The role is pivotal in inspiring and shaping the futures of our students within a dynamic and growing educational network.

Purpose of Job

The STEM teacher will be a classroom teacher with the ability to teach across Grade 3-5 Science and Technology syllabuses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Deliver STEM-oriented instruction through project-based learning methods.

● Attends professional development and training related to STEM programs and methodologies, staying abreast of current research.

● Employs a variety of instructional techniques, instructional media, and performance assessments, which guide the learning process toward curriculum goals and student learning.

● Uses technology to promote learning, creativity, and collaboration.

● Works directly with school administrators and staff in the development, implementation, and evaluation of STEM initiatives and curriculum.

● Organizes, develops, and coordinates special STEM events/activities.

● Coaches teachers on STEM initiatives and instructional best practices in the STEM areas.

● Serves as liaison to prospective or selected STEM vendors, to determine the best resources, options and innovations that will optimize the learning experience for students and staff.

● Initiates new programs that support the STEM vision.

● Open for traveling on business demand. Implementing the hands-on learning curriculum in school.

● Maintaining Robotics, Electronics kits intact in the school.

Skills Required

● Well versed in software and basic programming languages like C, C++, etc.

● Should have basic knowledge of sensors, MCU, robotics and embedded system.

● Require STEM Faculty with good programming knowledge of SCRATCH, C, Python.
