Job Overview

The Art and Craft Teacher position at Podar Education Network involves teaching creative arts to students at our Hadapsar Pune branch. This is a full-time junior-level role that requires a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 3 years of work experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for nurturing creativity and bringing out the artistic potential in students.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Teaching experience of 1-3 years in an educational institution (Mandatory skill).
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and feedback to students (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong classroom management skills to maintain a conducive learning environment (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficient in various artistic skills and techniques to provide a broad range of art lessons.
  • Creativity to develop unique and engaging art projects and activities for students.
  • Patience and understanding to guide and support students at different skill levels.
  • Effective lesson planning to create structured art sessions that meet curriculum standards.
  • Adaptability to modify teaching methods and materials to fit the needs and interests of students.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement art curriculum and lesson plans that meet educational standards.
  • Facilitate a classroom environment encouraging creativity and artistic expression.
  • Conduct classes and instruct students on various artistic techniques and media.
  • Evaluate and grade students' artwork and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
  • Manage classroom supplies and equipment, ensuring materials are available and in good condition.
  • Organize art exhibitions and displays to showcase students' work and achievements.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to integrate art into the broader curriculum.
  • Continuously update personal knowledge on current art trends and teaching methodologies.
