Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Pre Primary Teacher to join our team at Podar Education Network in Khopoli. This is a full-time, junior-level position that requires a minimum of 1-year work experience in pre-primary teaching. The role involves engaging young learners in activity-based learning and ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a pre primary teacher with a minimum of 1-year work experience in early childhood education environments.
- Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles to foster young learners' growth.
- Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and orderly learning environment.
- Ability to serve as a float teacher, stepping into various classroom roles as needed to support the teaching team.
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective main teacher, planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons aligned with educational goals.
- Experience in activity-based learning, creating interactive and engaging lessons that promote hands-on learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with young children, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to continual professional development and staying updated with education practices and methodologies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and implement a well-rounded curriculum that encourages creative learning and development in a pre primary setting.
- Foster a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages children to explore and inquire.
- Observe, assess, and document children’s performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure alignment and consistency in teaching approaches and practices.
- Engage with parents to report on students' progresses and discuss any concerns or developmental goals.
- Create a nurturing and safe learning space that enables students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including storytelling, hands-on activities, and educational games, to enrich classroom experience.
- Ensure adherence to educational standards and quality benchmarks established by the Podar Education Network.
