We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Mumbai. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining laboratory integrity and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have proficiency in lab assistant duties, including managing laboratory equipment and assisting in various experiments (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in sterilization techniques to ensure contamination-free environments in all laboratory procedures (Mandatory skill).
• Excellent understanding of laboratory safety protocols to protect personnel and maintain a safe working environment (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in microscopy including the use of microscopes for detailed sample examination and assessment.
• Experience with sample preparation techniques, ensuring samples are accurate for analysis and testing purposes.
• Familiarity with PCR techniques for conducting experiments and tests, essential for accurate research outcomes.
• Competency in aseptic technique for preventing contamination and ensuring the reliability of experimental results.
• Strong organizational skills for managing and maintaining laboratory supplies and equipment in an orderly fashion.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory tasks and assist with experimental procedures under supervision.
• Ensure all laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and handled to prevent errors or accidents.
• Prepare samples for testing, ensuring all methods comply with established protocols and quality standards.
• Perform and document laboratory results accurately, maintaining detailed logs and reports for record-keeping.
• Ensure laboratory cleanliness by implementing and following strict sterilization and safety protocols.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking laboratory supplies and ordering replacements as needed.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of laboratory safety and emergency procedures.
