Job Overview

Podar Education Network is seeking a Junior Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in clinical psychology. The candidate will work within our educational framework to support the mental health and well-being of students.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy to effectively address students' mental health issues and foster positive changes.
• Strong skills in patient assessment to accurately diagnose psychological conditions and create effective treatment plans.
• Experience in psychological testing for evaluating and understanding the cognitive and emotional functioning of students.
• Ability to provide mental health counseling, offering guidance and support during individual or group therapy sessions.
• Case management skills to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment for students requiring ongoing psychological support.
• Excellent report writing skills to clearly document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes for communication with stakeholders.
• Understanding of confidentiality and ethical guidelines in handling sensitive student information and providing care responsibly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and engage effectively with students and parents.
