Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Admission Counsellor to join our team at Podar Education Network, located in Bhiwandi. This is a full-time, junior-level position that requires a minimum of 1 year's experience. The role involves engaging with parents, managing admissions, and executing marketing strategies to attract potential students. As an Admission Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in guiding parents and students, ensuring a seamless admissions process.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience of at least 1 year in a related role in admission counselling, sales, marketing etc.
  • Proficiency in email marketing to reach potential parents effectively.
  • Strong skills in parent counselling, understanding their needs and concerns about education.
  • Experience in managing admissions and the ability to handle various enquiries.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact confidently and professionally with parents and students.
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing strategies relevant to educational institutions.
  • A graduate degree in any field, with an inclination towards education or marketing preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to meet targets.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage the admission process for new students, ensuring accurate and prompt documentation and record-keeping.
  • Conduct counselling sessions with potential students and their parents to provide information and support for educational choices and admissions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement digital marketing campaigns aimed at attracting new students.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with potential students and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they might have.
  • Streamline communication between parents, students, and school administration for a smooth admissions process.
  • Participate in education fairs, open houses, and information sessions to promote our educational programs.
  • Monitor and follow up on leads generated through various marketing activities to convert them into successful admissions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of counselling and admission strategies to enhance student enrolment numbers.
