Job Overview

We are looking for a Mid-Level Accountant to join our team at Podar Education Network. The position is based in Aurangabad and requires a commitment to a full-time employment model. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting with 4 to 6 years of work experience. The role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure efficient financial operations aligned with our organizational values.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive experience with fees collection and management in educational institutions, ensuring prompt and accurate processing.
  • Proven expertise in handling petty cash transactions and maintaining appropriate documentation for financial audits.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP software for managing day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, facilitating effective communication and collaboration with internal and external parties.
  • Hands-on experience with bank reconciliation processes, ensuring alignment of financial records with bank statements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a committed team player within the finance team.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills, essential for identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective measures in financial documents.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, focusing on fee collection and financial reporting.
  • Handle petty cash management, ensuring accuracy in documentation and alignment with organizational financial policies.
  • Utilize Tally ERP to ensure accurate and timely financial transaction recording and reporting.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including parents, vendors, and internal teams, to address financial queries and concerns effectively.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records and reports.
