Accounting Advisory – Senior Position summary Our Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory team is a niche setup equipped with extensive experience in financial reporting, regulatory compliance and technical accounting across international frameworks such as US GAAP, IFRS, Ind AS. The team’s competency to win in the market comes through subject matter and sector expertise in providing solutions across all types of transactions accounting or financial reporting needs for clients. As a Senior, you would be the main point of contact from Pierian for the tasks assigned by the global client serving advisory teams and be responsible for the timeliness and quality of deliverables along with managing day to day operations of those engagements. The role requires the individual to possess technical knowledge, including ability to interpret accounting standards and strong project management skills along with excellent communication and leadership skills. The role will provide an experience of Pierian's multinational clients who would get an exposure to various Accounting Standards like Ind AS, US GAAP, IFRS. Primary responsibilities Lead an engagement from the Pierian front and deliver timely and high quality work, in line with the Global team expectations. Demonstrate strong understanding of accounting standards in the engagements on Capital markets and SPAC transactions, SEC/SEBI Reporting and Compliance, Financial Accounting and Reporting, GAAP conversions or accounting change (revenue recognition and lease accounting) Develop and maintain productive relationships with key Pierian Global counterparts. Demonstrate professionalism, competence and clarity of communication when dealing with Pierian and Global teams. Identify opportunities to improve the scope of work for Pierian on one's own engagements. Be responsible for various operational matters related to engagements aligned. Qualifications, skills and experience Chartered Accountant (CA) CPA (US) or ACCA (UK) 1–3 years of post–qualification experience in auditing, accounting, or financial reporting preferably with a Big 4 Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and IndAS, expert analytical and advisory skills Ability to communicate with global clients Experience in at least some of the following areas: o Financial statement preparation and consolidation process o GAAP conversions and adoption of new accounting standards Candidates can expect atleast two-three rounds of technical interview
