Job Title: Remote Software Engineer

Experience: 2+ years

Roles: Two options are available - full-time as well as 6-months contractual roles

Location: Fully Remote

Budget: 90 lakhs per annum ($55 USD per hour)

Position Overview:

As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in developing robust and scalable backend solutions to support our products and services. You will be responsible for handling infrastructure issues, writing cron jobs, managing messaging queues, and ensuring efficient data transfer in a paginated manner. We are looking for individuals with a hustler attitude and a strong sense of responsibility to thrive in our fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• AI model training initiatives by curating code examples, offering precise solutions, and meticulous corrections in Python, Rust, JavaScript, C / C++, Java, Go.
• Evaluate and refine AI-generated code, ensuring it adheres to industry standards for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
• Produce detailed documentation that simplifies advanced coding techniques for AI training
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance AI-driven coding solutions, ensuring they meet enterprise-level quality and performance benchmarks.

Basic Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge in at least one of Python, Rust, JavaScript, C / C++, Java, Go, with a solid foundation in software development practices.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on industry experience with a proven track record in software development.
• Extensive experience with a wide array of tools and systems such as Databases, SQL, Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, gRPC, and AWS.
• Strong grasp of system fundamentals, including threads versus processes, multiprocessing versus concurrency, etc.
• Proficiency in shell scripting with terminal tools such as bash, zsh, and environment variable management.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• A high reputation on platforms like StackOverflow
• Evidence of meaningful contributions to open source projects
• Evidence of strong performance in programming competitions, eg. a high rating on Codeforces, or success in the ICPC
• The ideal candidate for this role is adaptable, possesses strong logical reasoning skills applicable to various scenarios, is detail-oriented, has experience with computers and software, and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

Additional Requirements

• Available to work evenings and weekends, as the schedule varies depending on team operational needs; flexibility is required
• Demonstrates a strong capacity to quickly adapt by learning new skills and unlearning outdated ones, thriving in dynamic and changing environments
