Role Overview
As a Client Onboarding Specialist at Pay3, you will be the primary point of contact for new enterprise clients post-sale. Your role involves guiding clients through the onboarding process, ensuring timely activation of our payment solutions, and setting the foundation for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding journey for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to active usage.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Compliance, Tech) and external partners to facilitate timely client activation.
- Guide clients through integration steps, including KYC, documentation, and system setup, ensuring compliance and seamless technical integration.
- Troubleshoot onboarding issues and coordinate with the tech team for swift resolutions.
- Build rapport with clients and proactively manage expectations throughout the onboarding process.
- Continuously improve onboarding workflows, checklists, and client communication materials.
- Track key onboarding metrics (TAT, success rate, drop-offs) and report regularly to stakeholders.
- Educate clients on Pay3’s product capabilities and best practices for usage.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in client onboarding, implementation, or customer success, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or B2B environments.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High attention to detail and a client-first mindset.
- Comfortable with API including documentation and technology tools to facilitate onboarding
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with onboarding in a payments/fintech environment.
- Knowledge of the payments ecosystem and digital commerce platforms.
