Our Business Solutions IT client is seeking a Data Engineer with experience in DBT for their German FMCG partner client which has presence in more than 13 locations across Europe.

The Data Engineer will be responsible to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure using Microsoft Fabric components. You’ll play a crucial role in applying data mesh architecture within the data domain Supply Chain Management using Microsoft Fabric ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficient data processing.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of practical experience as a full-time data engineer or similar role in a fast-paced environment
• Deep know how in modelling data across medallion layers, building ETL processes and providing data products
• Data Warehousing and Data Analytics skills
• Knowledge of working with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI is an advantage
• `Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, and Python
• Ability to write efficient code and improve existing code to optimize limited capacity
• Experience with Big Data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
