Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Telecaller cum Academic Counselor to join our team. This role is crucial in generating leads, providing initial counseling to prospective students interested in overseas education, and guiding them through the initial stages of the application process. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for education, and a strong desire to help students achieve their academic goals abroad.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Management:Make outbound calls to potential students using provided databases and leads.
  • Qualify leads based on their interest, eligibility, and financial capacity.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the CRM system.
  • Academic Counseling (Initial Stage):Provide basic information about various overseas education options, including universities, courses, and countries.
  • Understand student's academic background, career aspirations, and financial constraints.
  • Offer initial guidance on the application process, visa requirements, and other relevant information.
  • Address student inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Relationship Building:Build rapport with potential students and establish trust.
  • Maintain regular communication with students to nurture leads and encourage application submissions.
  • Follow up with students after initial counseling to track their progress.
  • Sales & Target Achievement:Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets for call volume, lead generation, and conversion.
  • Promote and explain the benefits of the company’s services.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve overall company goals.
  • Data Entry and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of student interactions.
  • Generate reports on call activity and lead conversion.
  • Provide feedback to management on lead quality and market trends.
  • Staying Updated:Keep up to date on the latest overseas education trends.
  • Maintain knowledge of visa and university requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
  • 0-2 years of experience in telecalling (mandatory).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English and regional languages (if applicable).
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (preferred).
  • Passion for education and a desire to help students achieve their goals.
  • Ability to learn and retain large amounts of information.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the education or overseas education industry.
  • Knowledge of different countries and their education systems.
  • Experience with lead generation and sales techniques.
