About the Job
Skills
· Responsible for the data entry relating to customer invoices, merchant bills, receipt of payments, expenses entries.
· Help in the processes related to tax payments, statutory filings, , GST and other obligatory filings as may be applicable
· Help & coordinate processes for the preparation of Corporation Tax, GST returns and Statutory Financial Statements
· Support the Statutory Audit process and ensure timely and accurate preparation of audit deliverables
· Produce error-free accounting reports.
· Make sure all invoices are timely booked & vendor reconciliations are performed.
· Knowledge of MS Office, office management software, Accounting Software’s like Tally, Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
· Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
· Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
· Assisting with annual audit preparations.
· Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
· Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
Qualification and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and stress management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
- Ability to train and manage staff.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision.
