Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Inventory Manager to join our team in Idukki. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience. The role involves ensuring optimal inventory levels, managing warehouse operations, and coordinating logistics to maximize efficiency and minimize costs within our retail operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in SAP Inventory Management (Mandatory skill) for efficient handling of inventory processes and data management.
• Strong experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) (Mandatory skill) to streamline warehouse operations and processes.
• Expertise in Logistics Coordination (Mandatory skill) to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Working knowledge of Oracle NetSuite to enhance inventory tracking and data integration.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and reporting.
• Solid skills in data analysis to interpret inventory data and inform decision-making processes.
• Experience in demand forecasting to accurately predict future inventory needs and prevent stockouts.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems to integrate and streamline business processes across departments.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes and adherence to safety standards.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation to meet delivery deadlines and cost objectives.
• Analyze inventory data and trends to inform inventory decisions and strategy adjustments.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate optimal prices and contract terms.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor and report on inventory KPIs, recommending improvements as needed.
• Integrate ERP and WMS to enhance inventory tracking and reporting capabilities.
