Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Cashier to join our team in Idukki, Muvattupuzha, Angamali, Perumbavoor, Irinjalakuda, Thrissur, and Kottayam. This is a full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. As a cashier, you will be responsible for managing transactions efficiently and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated ability in handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently (Mandatory skill).
• Strong basic math skills to process transactions and manage cash registers effectively (Mandatory skill).
• Proven multitasking abilities to handle various tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment (Mandatory skill).
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of transactions and data entry in a point-of-sale system.
• Experience with Point Of Sale (POS) Systems to manage transactions and inventory efficiently.
• Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with customers and team members.
• Capability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking individual initiative when needed.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage cash, credit, and check transactions with customers accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize the point-of-sale system to process sales and returns while ensuring data accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and purchases.
• Balance cash drawers and ensure the completeness and accuracy of the day's transactions.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure effective customer service.
• Handle customer complaints or direct them to the appropriate management level when necessary.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking shelves and updating inventory records as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and contribute to a positive work environment.
