# Proven experience in a network administrator role

# Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching

# Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of

network infrastructure

# Hands on experience with firewalls rules, troubleshooting, configuring VPN, IPS/IDS.

# Hands on experience of F5 Load balancer. Hands on experience of any SDWAN technology

# Expert in network Security.

# Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies

# Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies

# Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking

# CCNP, Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco Meraki training preferred

# Manage Engine OpManager monitoring tool working experience preferred 

Other Requisites

Someone who is CCNA certification or who has done the CCNA & CCNP .

Knowledge of Installation and Troubleshooting of Routers, Switches & Firewall

Knowledge of Cisco, Arista, Dell Force 10

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Excellent communication skills.

Ideally worked in a Low Latency trading environment (low latency WAN)

Ability to not only troubleshoot complex problems but also to manage projects, design solutions

and deliver technology implementations.

Any knowledge of scripting/automation is desirable, as is performance, capacity and monitoring

using packet analyzers such as Wire shark.

Strong knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, ARP, IP Tables, routing).

Excellent analytical skills, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility, urgency and drive.

Experience with network security, including firewalls Fortinet/Palo Alto/CheckPoint would be a plus
