Job Summary:
The Automotive Spare Parts Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales of automotive spare parts, building and maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves identifying customer needs, providing product expertise, and achieving sales targets while promoting the company’s range of spare parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Customer Service:
- Actively engage with customers (e.g., individuals, workshops, dealerships) to promote and sell automotive spare parts.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable spare parts based on vehicle make, model, and specifications.
- Prepare and present quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales deals.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support effectively.
- Product Knowledge & Inventory:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of automotive spare parts, including OEM and aftermarket products.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate with the inventory team, and ensure timely parts availability.
- Stay updated on new products, market trends, and competitor offerings.
- Business Development:
- Identify and approach potential clients to expand the customer base.
- Build long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, or promotional events as required.
- Target Achievement:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
- Prepare sales reports and provide feedback on market demand and customer preferences.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and transactions.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of parts to customers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as a diploma/degree in automotive engineering, business, or a related field, is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years in sales, preferably in the automotive or spare parts industry.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, or inventory management systems (preferred).
- Other: A valid driver’s license may be required.
Working Conditions:
- May require travel to meet clients or visit workshops.
- Work hours may include weekends or overtime during peak seasons.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary + commission based on sales performance.
