Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team at MM Autosales Private Limited. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing the dealership's financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and supporting the business’s overall financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain and update accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconciliation: Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of bank accounts, sales, and vendor accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Dealership Financial Transactions: Record and process vehicle sales transactions, including trade-ins, financing, and warranty-related payments.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and reconcile inventory accounts related to vehicle stock, parts, and accessories.
  • Auditing Support: Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Process and track payments to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
  • Customer Transactions: Handle deposits, refunds, and other financial customer-related transactions accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an automotive dealership or retail environment.
  • Knowledge: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, or other ERP systems). Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Licenses/Certifications: CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not required).

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position, Six days a week working, with occasional extended hours during peak periods.
  • Office-based work, with some interaction on the dealership floor for financial transactions and audits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
