Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Excel, Financial Analysis, and Accounts Payable/Receivable (Mandatory skill).
• Experience in tax preparation, ensuring accurate and timely filing of local, state, and federal taxes.
• Strong understanding of GAAP compliance with the ability to apply principles to routine accounting activities.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills necessary for accurate financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, to maintain accurate records.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to track company performance and provide insights into business decisions.
• Prepare tax documents and ensure all financial reporting is in compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with the finance team to prepare budgets and forecasts, providing necessary financial data and reports.
• Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate bookkeeping and report any discrepancies to management.
• Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation and support during the auditing process.
• Support senior accountants and finance managers with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.
