Job Overview
Magic Bus India Foundation is seeking a dedicated Placement Manager in Vijayawada to join our Livelihood Programme. As a mid-level full-time position, the successful candidate will focus on facilitating job placements for youth and promoting sustainable livelihood opportunities. By collaborating closely with our Livelihood Centres, the Placement Manager will contribute directly to enhancing employability skills, ensuring that our program participants achieve a brighter future.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in job placement processes with a focus on aligning candidates with the right opportunities (Mandatory skill).
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders and program participants (Mandatory skill).
- Expertise in employer outreach to build and maintain relationships with industry leaders (Mandatory skill).
- Experience in career counseling to assist with individual career development and decision-making.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and collaboration within communities and industries.
- Understanding of establishing and nurturing industry partnerships for increased employment opportunities.
- Capability in conducting employability skills training to prepare participants for the workforce.
- Experience in post-placement support to ensure sustained employment and career progression for beneficiaries.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve placement targets for program participants.
- Engage with potential employers to secure job openings and placement opportunities.
- Deliver career counseling sessions and prepare participants for job interviews.
- Lead outreach efforts to identify and establish partnerships with industry stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Livelihood Centres to manage and monitor participant progress.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance participant employability skills.
- Provide post-placement support to ensure job retention and satisfaction.
- Generate and maintain accurate reports on placement activities and outcomes.
