Placement Manager – Roles & Responsibilities
(Focused on IT, ITES, and Web Designing/UI-UX Placements)
1. Industry & Employer Engagement
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with companies in:
- IT (Software Development, Testing, Technical Support)
- ITES (BPO, KPO, Process Management, Tech Support)
- Web/UI-UX (Design Agencies, Product Startups, Marketing Firms)
- Identify placement opportunities aligned with trained job roles such as:
- Web Designer, UI/UX Designer, Frontend Developer
- Tech Support Executive, Software Tester
- Customer Service Associate (Voice/Non-Voice)
- Regularly engage with HR professionals, hiring managers, and design leads to understand evolving requirements.
2. Placement Planning & Drive Execution
- Align placement calendars with batch completion dates.
- Conduct job drives specific to tech and creative roles — on-campus, virtual, or employer-hosted.
- Match candidate skillsets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Figma, Adobe XD, English fluency) to open roles.
- Arrange portfolio presentations for UI/UX candidates if required by employers.
3. Candidate Preparation & Job Readiness
- Organize sessions on:
- Mock interviews (tech rounds, HR, and portfolio reviews)
- Communication & email etiquette (for IT/ITES roles)
- Portfolio building (for Web & UI/UX design roles)
- Resume writing tailored to different domains
- Provide role-wise job orientation:
- Explain agency vs. product company differences for UI/UX
- Clarify shift-based vs. regular roles in ITES
- Offer insight into freelancing vs. full-time work for designers
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain and update:
- Student-wise and role-wise placement records
- Offer-to-join ratios, retention metrics, and salary trends
- Interview feedback and employer satisfaction data
- Submit periodic placement reports to management, CSR partners, and training heads.
5. Coordination with Internal Teams
- Collaborate with:
- Trainers to ensure job readiness and bridge skill gaps
- Mobilization teams to align intake with market demand
- Design mentors to review student portfolios before shortlisting
- Align certification and assessment completion (e.g., UI/UX case studies, HTML/CSS tests) with job openings.
6. Post-Placement Support
- Support onboarding and documentation processes.
- Resolve any early attrition issues and ensure job satisfaction for placed candidates.
- Follow up with employers for feedback and explore repeat hiring opportunities.
7. Alumni & Industry Feedback Loop
- Track placed alumni for career progression in IT, ITES, or Design sectors.
- Collect structured feedback from hiring partners on design thinking, communication, and technical readiness.
- Use feedback to continuously refine training content and mock evaluation formats.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year

Livelihood Programme: Our Livelihood Programme enhances employability by imparting Employability Skills and connecting young people to sustainable livelihood opportunities through sector specific training, job placements and post-placement support.
Entrepreneurship Development Programme: Our Entrepreneurship Development Programme assists and mentors budding young entrepreneurs from underserved communities, 70 successful entrepreneurs from 3 regions have been supported through this programme.
