Job Summary: The MIS Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing the information systems within the organization. This role involves analyzing data, developing reports, and ensuring the integrity and security of our information systems to support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for various stakeholders.
  • System Management:
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of MIS software and tools.
  • Ensure the integrity, security, and availability of data across systems.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Collaborate with different departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Recommend solutions to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
  • Training & Support:
  • Provide training and support to users on MIS applications and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and user manuals.
  • Prepare technical specifications and system requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • years of experience in a similar role or relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of database management, data analysis tools, and reporting software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations.
  • Understanding of ERP systems and business processes.
