Job Overview
The Academic Excellence role at KR Mangalam School is a mid-level, full-time position based in East Delhi. We seek a dedicated professional with a maximum of 10 years of work experience to enhance our educational standards, focusing on pedagogical improvements and student success.
To lead, implement, and monitor academic improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing student learning outcomes across all grades. The AEC will work closely with the Principal, Heads of Departments (HODs), and teachers to ensure data-driven instruction, targeted remediation, and active learning strategies are consistently applied in classrooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Data & Assessment Management
• Design and implement regular formative assessments in core subjects.
• Maintain and analyze student performance data to identify learning gaps.
• Share insights with teachers and HODs for targeted interventions.
2. Remediation & Enrichment Programs
• Coordinate small-group remediation for struggling students and enrichment programs for
high performers.
• Develop lesson support materials for remedial and extension work.
• Track student progress and report results monthly.
3. Pedagogical Excellence
• Support teachers in integrating active learning and project-based methods into lessons.
• Organize monthly workshops or sharing sessions on effective teaching practices.
• Monitor classroom delivery and provide constructive feedback.
4. Coordination & Reporting
• Act as the focal point for all academic improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present monthly Academic Review Reports to the Principal.
• Liaise with HODs to ensure curriculum delivery aligns with the school’s academic excellence
goal.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong understanding of curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment methods.
• Ability to analyze academic performance data and translate it into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication and teacher coaching skills.
• Organized, proactive, and able to drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Experience
• Master’s degree in Education or relevant subject area.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, preferably with some leadership/coordinator role.
• Demonstrated track record of improving student learning outcomes.
