Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, with the ability to support our sales team by providing in-depth technical expertise and product knowledge. The Mechanical Engineer will work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver customized mechanical solutions and drive successful product implementations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a sales engineer or technical sales role, preferably within the mechanical or industrial sector.
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, products, and solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical support during the sales cycle, including product recommendations and technical presentations.
- Technical Presentations & Demos: Deliver compelling presentations and live demonstrations of mechanical products and solutions to clients, showcasing their features and benefits.
- Pre-sales Support: Gather technical requirements from clients, propose tailored solutions, and assist in drafting proposals, quotes, and RFP responses.
- Customer Consultations: Act as the technical expert during client meetings, providing insights on product capabilities, industry standards, and best practices.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with engineering and product development teams to customize solutions and ensure feasibility for implementation.
- Product Knowledge & Training: Continuously update knowledge of mechanical engineering products, tools, and trends, and participate in training to stay ahead of the competition.
- Post-Sales Support: Provide support during the installation, setup, and operational phases to ensure customer satisfaction and product performance.
- Market Feedback: Gather feedback from clients to inform product improvements and innovations and relay that information to the product development team.
