Job Overview

We are seeking a Warehouse Head to manage our warehouse operations in Indore. The ideal candidate will focus on optimizing supply chain processes, implementing warehouse automation systems, and coordinating logistics to support our expanding operations. This pivotal role will help drive efficiency and safety throughout our warehousing activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Supply chain optimization to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery objectives.
• Experience with warehouse automation systems to streamline operations and increase productivity.
• Logistics coordination skills to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to clients.
• Proficiency in inventory management software to effectively track and manage stock levels, minimizing wastage.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge to identify and eliminate waste, while promoting continuous improvement methodologies.
• Data analysis capabilities for operations to interpret and leverage data for informed decision making and strategic planning.
• Understanding of safety compliance standards to ensure all operations meet legal and ethical regulations, minimizing risks.
• Proven team leadership experience in warehousing to inspire, guide and mentor the warehouse team towards achieving company goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Should be proficient in labor management (contractual and on roll)
• Implement and manage warehouse automation systems to enhance operational productivity and accuracy.
• Optimize supply chain logistics to reduce costs and improve service levels, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Develop and maintain inventory management systems to track product availability and reduce surplus or shortage risks.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and training for warehouse staff to build a high-performing team.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards to protect employees and assets, conducting regular safety inspections.
• Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse strategies with overall business objectives and customer demands.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas of improvement, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
