We are looking for a Purchase Engineer to oversee procurement operations, vendor management, and sourcing of materials required for production and projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of engineering materials, market trends, and negotiation skills to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Sourcing:

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Source and procure raw materials, components, and equipment as per project requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize costs.
• Ensure procurement activities align with budget and business objectives.

2. Vendor & Supplier Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on delivery, quality, and service.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers to improve supply chain efficiency.

3. Cost Control & Budgeting:

• Analyze cost reduction opportunities without compromising on quality.
• Prepare and maintain procurement budgets for assigned categories.
• Track price trends of materials and recommend cost-saving strategies.

4. Inventory & Logistics Coordination:

• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to prevent production delays.
• Work with logistics partners for efficient transportation of goods.

5. Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Assist in audits and documentation for quality certifications (ISO, ASME, etc.).
