Job Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Kanunga Extrusion Private Limited. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our automotive steel products to tier 1 and tier 2 vendors of major auto OEMs. This is a full-time position with a job location in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Junior candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in technical sales or a similar role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to understand and effectively present technical product information
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with the automotive industry and understanding of automotive steel products is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company targets and expand market share
  • Identify potential customers and build strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Provide technical product knowledge and support to customers
  • Generate sales leads and follow up on business opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and resolve issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors' activities
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the sales management team
