Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior SAP Basis Consultant for a full-time role based in Chennai or Bengaluru. The selected professional will play a critical role in SAP implementation and support, leveraging expertise in managing SAP environments. Key areas of expertise should include HANA, BTP, and RISE, and the candidate should have demonstrated experience in SAP administration and Fiori. This role requires effective communication and problem-solving skills to drive successful project outcomes in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in SAP Basis implementation projects, focusing on efficient and timely delivery of solutions to meet business needs.
• Strong administrative skills in managing, maintaining, and optimizing SAP systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, enabling enhanced user experiences by customizing and configuring applications to meet end-user requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning of SAP HANA databases (Mandatory skill).
• Experience working with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for cloud extensions and integrations (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in SAP RISE, offering insights into system architecture, cloud strategy, migration, and deployment (Mandatory skill).
• Excellent analytical abilities for diagnosing complex issues in SAP landscapes and implementing suitable solutions efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness in delivering IT solutions to diverse business units.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and support the architecture, design, and health of SAP environments, ensuring seamless operation across systems.
• Lead key SAP Basis projects, ensuring comprehensive implementation and enhancement of system capabilities.
• Coordinate installation, upgrades, and maintenance of SAP applications to optimize system performance and capabilities.
• Act as a technical advisor, providing comprehensive system insights and ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
• Oversee system integrations, ensuring SAP solutions are effectively linked to other enterprise applications.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations and technical processes, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with client teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Contribute to ongoing development of team capabilities through mentoring and knowledge sharing with peers and stakeholders.
