Job Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Counsellor to join our team in our locations including Surat, Jamnagar, Ahmedabad, and Vadodara. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for providing expert counselling to patients, helping them understand their treatment options and encouraging adherence to plans. The role requires significant interaction with clients, demanding empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess exceptional patient counseling skills to provide guidance and support to clients, helping them make informed decisions about their care.
• Display strong active listening skills, ensuring you understand patient concerns and respond appropriately to build trust and rapport.
• Demonstrate capability in client education, ensuring clients have a comprehensive understanding of treatment procedures and expectations.
• Have a proficiency in encouraging treatment adherence, motivating patients to follow through with their prescribed care plans effectively.
• Exhibit expertise in treatment planning, collaboratively working with dermatologists to outline personalized care plans for patients.
• Show cultural sensitivity, respecting and acknowledging diverse backgrounds and ensuring all interactions are inclusive and respectful.
• Experience in handling sensitive dermatology matters with professionalism and confidentiality to create a safe environment for patients.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary to convey complex medical information in a clear, compassionate manner.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive counseling to clients regarding skin and hair treatments available at the clinic.
• Educate patients and answer questions about treatment options, expected outcomes, and necessary lifestyle modifications.
• Guide patients through the treatment process, ensuring they understand each step and what is expected of them.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment adherence plans that align with patients' lifestyles and preferences.
• Collaborate with dermatologists and medical staff to refine treatment plans and ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain detailed patient records, documenting consultations and any advice provided during the counseling sessions.
• Foster a supportive and positive environment that encourages patient engagement and successful treatment outcomes.
• Continuously update your knowledge of dermatological treatments and advancements in the field to enhance patient consultations.
