Job Description: Sales Professional – Racking & MHE Solutions
Location: Thane
Department: Sales
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for racking and material handling equipment (MHE) solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Customer Engagement:
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable racking and MHE solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Assist customers with project planning and design, ensuring solutions meet their specific needs.
- Revenue Generation:
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and quotations to convert prospects into customers.
- Coordination and Collaboration:
- Work closely with the design and engineering teams to develop customized solutions.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely project execution and delivery.
- Maintain seamless communication with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project updates in CRM systems.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in racking and MHE systems.
- Participate in training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in racking, warehousing, or material handling equipment.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with racking systems, forklifts, and other MHE products is a strong advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical products and explain them to customers effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
