Job Overview

The Head of Supply Chain Management at Jost's Engineering Co. Ltd. will be based in Thane and is a full-time, senior-level position. The role requires a seasoned professional with 7 to 10 years of experience. You will lead and optimize our supply chain operations, providing strategic oversight to ensure efficiency and drive business objectives. The ideal candidate will excel in managing supply chain strategies, optimizing inventory, and overseeing vendor management to enhance logistical performance.

• Extensive experience in formulating and executing supply chain strategies to boost operational efficiency and support company growth (Supply Chain Strategy) (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in inventory optimization techniques to minimize costs and enhance product availability and turnaround times (Inventory Optimization) (Mandatory skill).
• Proven track record in vendor management, ensuring strategic partnerships and reliable supplier performance (Vendor Management) (Mandatory skill).
• Strong capabilities in logistics management, coordinating multiple entities of the supply chain for seamless product flow and distribution.
• Ability to forecast demand accurately, thereby ensuring the right inventory levels and supply chain alignment with market trends.

• Lead and oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, from supplier selection to logistics and distribution. Should have international market experience too.

• Drive inventory optimization efforts to manage costs and improve delivery performance across supply channels. Should have dealt with procurement for Material Handling Products' procurement.
• Evaluate and select strategic suppliers to establish reliable and cost-effective vendor relations.
• Ensure seamless logistics operations, focusing on optimizing transport logistics and warehousing activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to synchronize production planning, sales forecasting, and order processing.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, fostering a culture of efficiency and agility.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive assessment and strategic planning.
