Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Chartered Accountant with excellent SAP knowledge to join our team in Thane on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in the industry. The position involves working closely with our financial team to ensure accurate financial reporting, analysis, and strategic planning. This role is critical in supporting the financial integrity and growth objectives of Jost's Engineering Co. Ltd.

Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience in financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements for all stakeholders (Mandatory skill).
• Proficiency in financial analysis, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights (Mandatory skill).
• Expertise in budgeting and forecasting, contributing to effective financial planning and resource allocation (Mandatory skill).
• Comprehensive understanding of tax compliance, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, enabling effective evaluation and improvement of financial processes.
• Proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to maintain global accounting practices.
• Capability in risk management to identify, analyze, and mitigate financial risks effectively.
• Experience with ERP Systems, particularly SAP, to optimize financial processes and data management.
• SAP knowledge is a must.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Experience with subsidiary company finance is a must.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and publication of monthly financial documents including balance sheets and income statements.
• Manage the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, preparing and filing accurate tax returns and maintaining necessary documentation.
• Lead internal and external audits to ensure accurate and compliant financial records.
• Advise on accounting standards such as IFRS, providing guidance and assistance in their implementation.
• Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.
• Collaborate with IT and financial teams to enhance ERP systems, particularly SAP, for improved financial operations.
