Role and Responsibilities:
As an HR Generalist / Analyst in our eye care organization, you will play a crucial role in managing various human resource functions, with a particular focus on payroll, HR MIS, and generalist duties. Your responsibilities will include:
Payroll Management:
- Overseeing end-to-end payroll processes accurately and efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations related to payroll and taxation.
- Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering payroll-related inquiries.
HR MIS (Management Information Systems):
- Developing and maintaining HR databases and management information systems.
- Generating regular reports and analytics on key HR metrics for management review.
- Analyzing data trends to provide insights for decision-making.
HR Generalist Activities:
- Handling various HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Conducting HR-related research and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements related to HR activities.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
- Assisting in audits and compliance reviews as necessary.
Employee Support:
- Serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Providing guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters.
- Facilitating training sessions or workshops on HR topics as needed.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with organizational goals.
- Coordinating with external vendors or service providers for HR-related services.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identifying areas for process improvement within HR functions and implementing solutions.
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of HR systems and processes.
