Job description:

As a Senior Functional Architect, you will play a critical role in implementing and supporting Oracle EBS/Fusion Cloud system for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their business processes, gather requirements, configure the software and provide expert guidance to ensure successful solution deployment. Your deep understanding of all functional processes and modules will be instrumental in driving efficient and effective solutions.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:


 ERP Strategy & Architecture

• Overall have 15-20 Years of experience in Oracle ERP combination of Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud.

• Contributed minimum 5 years of Senior Functional Analyst role

• At least 10 full life cycle implementations, preferably in Banking and Financial Services domain

• Define and maintain the functional architecture for ERP systems, ensuring alignment with business strategy and IT standards.

• Develop and document high-level ERP functional designs, workflows, and integrations with other enterprise systems.

• Deep knowledge of one or more ERP platforms

• Strong understanding of enterprise business processes and cross-functional integrations

 Solution Design & Implementation

• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and supportable ERP solutions.

• Design end-to-end functional solutions for modules like Finance, Supply Chain, HR, or Manufacturing, depending on the ERP.

• Lead system configuration, prototyping, and testing efforts.

• Having very good experience in understanding requirements in RFP’s, map it with correct solution and suggest and come up with estimates.

 Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the key liaison between business units and technical teams.

• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and design sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements and define optimal processes.

• Provide subject matter expertise and best practices to business process owners.

 Project Leadership & Governance

• Lead or participate in ERP project planning, execution, and governance.

• Collaborate with project managers, developers, data analysts, and other architects.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, and data management standards.

 Project Leadership & Governance

• Should be able to interpret functional requirements in client BRDs and create Future Process Documents (FPDs) and Functional Design Documents (FDDs)

• Having experience in conceptualizing and configuring solution design, articulating integration designs and conducting Conference Room Pilots

• Should have conducted client Workshops/ Discovery sessions/ fit-gap analysis, Solution Designing and extensive experience on configuration of the modules and excellent client facing skills

• Expert in conducting CRP’s and UAT’s

• Expert in preparing training documents and plan and conduct user trainings.


 Continuous Improvement

• Analyze and optimize current ERP functionalities and business processes.

• Monitor industry trends and recommend system improvements, upgrades, or innovations.

• Mentor, Guide Junior Functional resource to get the assignments done and take ownership of the complete team.


Other Competencies / Skills:


• Excellent communication skills – written & verbal, mandatory.

• Engaged high with customer interactions, negotiation skills and good stakeholder management skills

• Good interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with all stakeholders.

• Ability to present ideas and solutions in a clear & concise manner.

• Any experience with integrating with a Core Banking System would be an advantage

• Collaborating with team members to ensure successful implementation of solution

Mandatory Qualifications

Strong Oracle ERP Functional Experience and played a role of Senior Functional Architect
