Job Description

Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and senior-level FLEXCUBE Core Banking professional to serve as an on-site advisor for a major FLEXCUBE upgrade project (from version 12.x to 14.7). The candidate will work closely with the bank’s stakeholders, providing strategic, functional, and technical guidance throughout the upgrade lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and expert recommendations for the FLEXCUBE upgrade from version 12.x to 14.7.

• Serve as the bank’s trusted advisor on FLEXCUBE architecture, deployment, integration, and best practices.

• Review and guide the upgrade plan, risk mitigation strategy, and technical feasibility.

Required Experience and Skills:

1. FLEXCUBE Expertise:

o 20+ years of experience in FLEXCUBE Core Banking implementation, upgrade, and support.

o Hands-on involvement in FLEXCUBE versions 14.5 and above, including implementation and upgrade programs.

o In-depth knowledge of FLEXCUBE 14.7 architecture and all its technology components (middleware, database, API, etc.).

2. Testing & Quality Assurance:

o Experience in defining and executing test strategy, test design, and test case preparation.

o Strong involvement in SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsals, and Go-Live planning.

o Good understanding of interface and API testing, especially for Core integrations.

3. Functional Knowledge:

o Strong domain expertise in Retail and Corporate banking modules across versions 12.x and 14.7.

o Clear understanding of deprecated features and new functionalities introduced in 14.7.

o Ability to recommend optimal retrofit approaches for existing customizations.

4. Data Migration:

o Prior involvement in Retail and Corporate data migration from 12.x to 14.7.

o Understanding of data migration testing, validation, and reconciliation best practices.

5. Oracle Database & Infrastructure:

o Expertise in Oracle 19c database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

o Familiarity with backup and recovery mechanisms (GoldenGate, RMAN, Data Guard, EXPDP/IMPDP).

o Understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) and Data Center (DC) switchover/switch-back procedures.

o Awareness of common 14.7 EOD issues and proven resolution experience.

6. Security & Compliance:

o Knowledge of database encryption standards and techniques.

o Exposure to PII data masking strategies within the FLEXCUBE application.

o Familiarity with development and testing of regulatory, operational, and MIS reports.
