A multifaceted development of its kind in India, it includes the musical Fountain of Joy, an upscale retail experience, a multivenue cultural centre, selection of cafés and fine dining restaurants, serviced apartments and offices, and one of India’s largest convention facilities – the Jio World Convention Centre. The Centre opened to the public with the Jio World Convention Centre and the Fountain of Joy at Dhirubhai Ambani Square in early 2022. ​ The Jio World Centre is strategically located in Mumbai’s vibrant business and cultural hub of Bandra Kurla Complex. This centre has been developed with an international design vocabulary, while honoring the culture and spirit of India.


JOB PURPOSE:

To develop and execute integrated social media strategies, campaigns, and promotions that build brand equity, drive engagement, and support commercial outcomes. The role is responsible for targeting defined audiences, overseeing the creation of compelling, culturally relevant content, and delivering clutter-breaking social media experiences aligned with the organisation’s positioning as a world-class arts and culture destination. The incumbent will also strengthen reporting capabilities, identify growth and expansion opportunities, and drive sustained audience and revenue growth across social platforms.


JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a strong vision for social media and social commerce, engaging guests across all relevant touchpoints throughout their journey, with a clear focus on driving awareness, engagement, and sales.
  • Lead and oversee the team (including external creative and social media agencies, as applicable) responsible for managing and growing social media presence across platforms through campaigns, content, promotions, live coverage, and an integrated social media calendar.
  • Build and execute end-to-end social media strategies aligned with brand objectives, programming calendars, cultural moments, launches, performances, and large-scale events.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement tools, platforms, and software to streamline social media operations, content planning, publishing, analytics, and reporting.
  • Plan and manage live and real-time social media content captured at events, performances, and launches, including handling high-pressure moments with agility and accuracy.
  • Work closely with photographers, videographers, creators, production partners, and agencies to deliver high-quality visual and video content that reflects premium brand and cultural sensibilities.
  • Develop strong working relationships with tenant brands and the wider Reliance Group ecosystem to enhance collaboration, expand reach, and evolve the overall social media footprint.
  • Continuously monitor platform trends, formats, algorithms, and best practices; test new channels, content formats, and ideas; and translate insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Analyse social media performance data and iterate strategies to optimise engagement, reach, and conversion, partnering with data and analytics teams to deepen understanding of algorithmic and audience drivers.
  • Oversee optimisation efforts across the social ecosystem, including paid and organic content, social ad copy, and landing page or destination experiences where relevant.
  • Manage social media budgets, recommending and implementing tools, processes, and resource allocations to drive operational efficiency and performance outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with owners of other channels (paid media, PR, email, website, partnerships, etc.) to ensure consistency, alignment, and a seamless consumer journey.


QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.


SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to conceptualise and execute end-to-end social media campaigns aligned with brand, programming, and cultural objectives.
  • Excellent understanding of major social media platforms including Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging formats, with knowledge of algorithms, trends, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with social media analytics and management tools such as Meta Business Suite, Sprout, Hootsuite, native platform insights, Google Analytics, or equivalent.
  • High creative sensibility with a strong eye for visuals, storytelling, captions, and culturally relevant content suited to premium arts, culture, and entertainment environments.
  • Proven experience in both paid and organic social media management, with demonstrated growth outcomes for each.
  • Strong copywriting skills with an instinctive understanding of what performs well across platforms.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and people skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams, agencies, artists, creators, PR partners, and vendors.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, approvals, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating amidst ambiguity, evolving priorities, and dynamic event-led environments.
  • Passion for arts and culture, with a strong interest in educating stakeholders on the power of social media as a business and brand-building tool.


EXPERIENCE:

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in social media and digital marketing, preferably with premium brands, cultural institutions, entertainment, fashion, luxury, or lifestyle organisations.
  • Proven experience developing and executing social media strategies and campaigns for well-recognised brands, including live events, launches, or large-scale cultural programming.
