Purpose of The Role

Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering the high-quality theatrical productions and cultural events at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre by overseeing all phases of project execution, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments, effective stakeholder communication, and adherence to artistic, operational, and financial objectives.


Job Accountabilities

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Execute contractual shows in different spaces in the cultural centre in coordination with other departments including technical department, marketing, and operations following the company standard procedures and guidelines.

Cross programming:

  • Program and execute new genres of shows as per management directions and strategy and in full liaison with the programming team and head of department.

Team player:

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional tasks, including artists management, logistics, scheduling and briefing in liaison with the head of department and other departments

Stakeholder Management:

  • Clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders including leadership on the status of ongoing assigned projects.

Budget Management:

  • Monitor allocated project budgets and expenses, ensuring projects are delivered within the approved costs and have a cost-effective approach and mindset.

Scheduling of assigned projects:

  • Clear scheduling and timelines of all steps of each project including site visits, rehearsals, performances while being mindful of other functions in and around the centre.

Marketing and PR:

  • Collaborate with marketing team by providing clear briefing and information about each project including timelines, expected results and liaising with artists and producers for PR activities and interviews when required.

Reporting:

  • Report to the head of department with full brief on projects status, financials, incidents, results while keeping an ownership mindset of delivering assigned projects and tasks


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in art management, projects management or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Post-Graduation in Arts / Events/ Marketing or a related discipline from a reputed college or university

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within cultural events or theatre
  • Proven track record of successfully managing theatrical productions or similar events
  • Strong understanding of the performing arts landscapes locally and internationally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft mainly in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by shows schedules
