We are looking to invite to our team a dynamic, aggressive and forward looking professional to join as Manager -Production. This is an exciting opportunity for those who wish to work for a stable, well-established company that builds transformational technologies within the revolutionary domain of IoT.

Responsibilities:

·        Create and implement the annual production plan, aligned with a business plan, in the areas of production, people, and plant requirements in order to meet/exceed plant goals within budgetary and capital plans. 

·        Engage employees in continual improvement through using Lean Manufacturing tools and other problem-solving methodologies. Focus on improving processes, safety, quality, productivity, yield, service, costs, work environment 

·        Ensure leadership processes are effective and timely for direct reports and their people: quarterly goals, performance reviews, and development plans. (Ensure development plans are implemented.) 

·        Foster teamwork between all departments and other functions in the business to meet individual plant goals and corporate business goals. Work with supervision to build high-performance teams  

·        Ability to understand product assembly cost and able to negotiate with EMS to achieve the best possible manufacturing cost 

·        Knowledge on production quality process: Kaizen, Six Sigma methodology, IATF 16949, etc., 

·        Ensure quality standards poka-yoke, PPAP, etc., 

·        Knowledge on preparing control plan, PFMEA, process flow, RCA, and 8D reports 

·        Ensuring production as per requirements of the Company 

·        Develop and implement plant communication plans , to focus on effective daily communication with direct reports and all in conversion/shipping to ensure all employees are informed of goals, progress/shortfalls, key business information, and issues/resolution.  

·        Work closely with the plant teams/EMS to establish and hand-hold in 5S implementation and achieve 5S Excellence 

·        Regularly monitor first pass yield in stages and ensure continuous improvement plant for achieving manufacturing excellence 

Requirements:

·        Bachelor's degree in E&C/EEE.

·        Knowledge of assembly standards IPC 610, MSL levels, etc., 

• Knowledge on Mechanical designing, Plastic Injection, Moulding, Designing, Wiring Harness, and Automotive accessories is plus.  

·        The applicant should have at least 6 to 10 years of hardcore experience in EMS production unit. 

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

·        Knowledge of Transport Industry/ Telematics
