Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and workstations.
• Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions.
• Perform system updates, patch management, and package installations.
• Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and log files.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues.
• Optimize system performance through tuning and configuration adjustments.
• Manage file systems, partitions, and disk storage.
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions.
• Configure and manage network services, such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, and LDAP.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
• Implement security measures, including firewall configurations and access controls.
• Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts and automation tools for routine tasks.
• Automate system monitoring and reporting.
• Investigate and resolve system and application issues.
• Provide technical support to end-users and escalate complex problems when necessary.
• Configure and manage virtualization technologies, such as KVM, VMware, or Xen.
• Create and maintain virtual machines.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure data backup and recovery processes are effective and up-to-date.
